A Panel of Discussion

Last weekend, I had the priviledge to sit on a discussion panel presented by Naropa University Extended Studies in Boulder, Colorado. Pamela Taylor, Marketing Director of Extended Studies for Naropa, spent countless hours of planning, organizing and considering this grand opportunity. She and her staff put together a panel entitled: The Inner Lives of Animals. I was invited to be a panel member with three esteemed people in their respective fields: Damian Ficca, a Certificed Vocational Equine Instructor, Marc Bekoff, author, world traveler and activist, Faith Maloney, co-founder of Best Friends Society, formerly Best Friends Sanctuary of Kanab, Utah. It was an electrofying evening of lively discussion to a crowd of over 100 very interested folks. To be included in this company was certainly a humbling honor. Their combined years of experience took my breath away. Wow!

The very next day, I taught the FIRST ever Level I Animal University Certificate of Completion course in Longmont, Colorado at the Colorado Horse Rescue. The photo is our class of enthusiastic and very talented communicators. I'll share much, much more on Animal University. I have many surprises and exciting subjects to write about as it has developed into a very worthy and course impressive place to learn and prepare for the challenging world of communicating with animals. Can't wait to share. In the meantime, take a look at our first 'graduating' class. Congratulate them on their excellent success and continued study through the next 4 levels of AU's Certificate Program.

Until next time...let me know your thoughts. I'll be adding lots of them to share with our readers. Have a good weekend, Joyce
